I'm excited to share the fourth edition of "Advancing Women in Sport"! It's been a labour of love, and we've made it!

The sports industry is constantly changing, and women's role in it is evolving too. I've spent a lot of time chatting with some of the most forward-thinking people in the field, and I've picked out 12 voices that showcase worldwide perspectives on gender equality in sport.

Personal Stories, Universal Lessons

In this edition, twelve respected people from the sporting sector offer an insightful glimpse into their lives and careers. They share their personal experiences of confronting gender inequality and, importantly, the way they decided to change the game for women.

The report captures my guests' collective wisdom and provides actionable insights. Here's a sample of what to expect:

  1. Moya Dodd discusses women's roles as decision-makers and the transformative power of football.
  2. Dr Ryan Storr provides insights into LGBTQI+ inclusion and the importance of empathy in sports leadership.
  3. Clare Hanlon spotlights the impact of inclusive uniforms on increasing the participation of women and girls in sport.
  4. Adam Bishop delves into being an ally to women in sport, particularly when it comes to high-performance coaching.
  5. Tony Hallam highlights the media's portrayal of women's sports and the business of women's sport.
  6. Gen Dohrmann emphasises the importance of redefining how women in sports are portrayed in the media.
  7. Kerry Harris articulates the nuances of structural changes at the top and how she started the iconic Equal Pay chant at the FIFA Women's World Cup.
  8. Holly Bailey is the change she wants to see for women and girls in sport through the "Play Like a Girl" movement.
  9. Matt Hammond illustrates the need for privileged men to do the work to become allies and accomplices to women.
  10. Chloe Dalton spotlights the media's role and the importance of 50:50 coverage in women's sports.
  11. Jacqueline Comer is confronting the digital world's challenges: online abuse, misogyny, and more.
  12. Tarik Bayrakli is championing gender equality, addressing racism, and promoting inclusivity in sport through Club Respect.

My Vision for the Future

This fourth report isn't merely a mirror to the world of sport, I want it to be a catalyst for urgent change. I hope these insights act as a guide, steering you towards a future where women and girls in sport are as respected, valued and celebrated as their male counterparts currently are.

Whether you're knee-deep in sport, a casual enthusiast, or an ally for equality like me, "Advancing Women in Sport" is my invitation to be part of the global movement to level the playing field for women in sport.

The "Advancing Women in Sport" report is ready for you to download. Dive in, share your thoughts with me, and let's shape the future together.

Thanks to Ben and Buffy from Spackle Media, who have helped shape my vision, thoughts, interviews and words into valuable and professional content.
